A structured referral strategy is actually relatively simple. Ask for referrals, wait, and then ask again.

You see...people may or may not give a referral the first time you ask. Maybe the relationship hasn't been long enough. Maybe they can't think of anyone at that point. Maybe they get busy and forget.

So how do you handle this?

Ask regularly.

You don't want to be a pest, but asking someone every few months or so and giving them an easy way to refer people to you makes both your and their life easier.

How does the Refer-A-Friend system work in Kyrios?

Automation

The likelihood of someone referring someone else without being asked is slim to none. We build custom automation within your Kyrios account that will prompt your customers to refer a friend via text or via email. Instead of having to physically ask customers for referrals, when they are marked as a customer, they will be placed into the automated referral requests. Each of the requests are personalized for your contacts.

If they don't respond in a couple of days, Kyrios will send out another request. Depending on your market, each of your customers will be asked for referrals every 3 or 6 months. You can opt for a different trimeframe, but our research has provided these as optimal for most markets.

Funnel Pages

When your customer clicks on the request for referrals, they are taken to a funnel page that is custom-tailored for your brand. That page will ask if know of anyone whom they can refer to your business.

If they have a referral to give you, they simply fill out the form. Once the form is filled out, our automation will thank them for giving the referral and will then start an automated follow-up with the referral. A task will also be created in Kyrios for you to follow up with the referral as well just to make sure this new lead is taken advantage of and does not get cold.
